Distractions happen, so the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) can alert you to obstacles detected ahead. It’s programmed to provide visual alerts when it determines a crash is possible – and if you don’t react, it can brake for you.
With the Lane Departure Warning (LDW) System there is a camera mounted between the windshield and the rearview mirror that determines if your vehicle begins to move away out of a detected lane. If you cross a detected lane marker without using the turn signal, a message appears in the MID and a beep sounds continuously.
Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow maintains a set speed and following interval from a detected vehicle ahead on the highway, even working in traffic to stop the vehicle entirely.
The Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS) is designed to help deliver the driver to keep the RDX centered in a detected highway lane by applying mild, progressive steering inputs.

The available Blind Spot Information (BSI) system continuously monitors behind and to the sides of the RDX for other vehicles, helping to alert the driver if a vehicle is detected.
When reversing, the Rear Cross Traffic Monitor uses radar to detect vehicles approaching from the side and can alert the driver to their presence with an audible warning and visual alerts in the rear camera display.
Standard Auto High-Beam Headlights automatically dim the 3 inner projectors of the Jewel Eye LED Headlights when other vehicles are detected, while the outer low-beam projectors with auto-on/off feature remain on to light the road ahead.
Every RDX comes with the Multi-View Rear Camera with Dynamic Guidelines with three selectable views. The Advanced Package includes the Surround-View Camera System that provides a more robust 360-degree display of your surroundings, allowing for precise parking in demanding situations.
